Delete your Bīj account

You can request deletion of your Bīj account and associated personal data here.

If you still have access to the Bīj app, you can also delete your account directly from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Enter the email address associated with your Bīj account below.

After you submit your request, we will use that email address to verify that you own the account before deletion begins.

What happens when your request is verified

Once your deletion request is verified:

• your Bīj account and access to private account features will be disabled;

• your personal Bīj data, including your profile, practice history, written reflections and preferences, will be targeted for deletion within 7 days;

• links between your account and restoration records will be removed, while only de-identified aggregate or historical impact information may remain;

• residual copies in secure operational backups may take up to 30 days to expire and will not be restored to normal product use;

• records we are legally required to retain, including appropriate transaction and tax records, will be kept only for the period required by law.

Memberships and subscriptions

Deleting your Bīj account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through an app store.

If you have an active Monthly or Annual membership and want billing to stop, cancel the subscription through the app store where you purchased it.

Deleting your Bīj account also does not delete or alter purchase or transaction records maintained by the applicable app store or by our membership infrastructure provider. Those records are governed by those providers' own terms and retention practices.
